Personality
Aoki is not a very approachable person. His expression stays annoyed while his responses stay short. He is generally aggressive and will avoid people when able. If you see him at the dead of night, he will most likely run from you. He has a bad habit of running away. If you are able to catch his eye, you may find he is still standoffish. He shows affection through actions, never by words. He is... still learning to get close to people.
Appearance
The Veena Viera has gray-blue tinted skin and mismatched blue and gray eyes. He has faded dark blue hair with graying highlights. He is a little above average standing at 5'11" (180cm), and lithe when it comes to musculature. He paints on the blue marks across his eyes, so it is not permanent by any means. He is often seen in dark colors and more than likely has his face covered by a hood or mask. A strong breeze would reveal a large amount of hidden weapons he keeps on his person while traveling.
History
Ask anyone Aoki keeps around, they would not be able to tell you his true origins. Some say he is from the snowy mountains of the north. Others say he is from the high seas of the far east. If you ask Aoki himself, he would not tell you. However, if you go looking into his past, you may find traces of a melancholy traveler. A faded wanted poster with his visage, a pressed flower in an old children's book. Some keepsakes of a long history.
Present Day
Wanted Criminal: You might recognize Aoki's visage from a wanted poster here or there. Perhaps that is still relevant.
Hired Hand: Looking for a bodyguard? Someone to steal something? Someone to hire for a hit? Aoki does any of these for the right price.
Conjurer's Guild: You might catch him serving some time in Gridania as a healer. Why would a grumpy man like him do that?
Veena Viera: If you are a Veena, he will likely try his best to avoid you.
Nature: Aoki spends a lot of his free time out in the wilderness. You might bump into him in the thickets of the Shroud, the frozen lands of Coerthas, or the forests of Limsa.
Before Eorzea (Background RP)
The Skatay Range: From birth to young adulthood. Maybe you were a part of his tribe.
Hotgo Adopted: After leaving home. Seeing a Viera with a tribe raises questions.
Captured Pirate: Serving unwillingly to a pirate crew. He might have stolen goods from your ship.
Kugane: He spent a long time in Kugane before leaving for Eorzea. You might have bumped into him or were a victim of his crimes.

Hi! I have a lot of FFXIV characters that I adore a lot so I will be posting about them on my tumblr, but I made this Carrd for Aoki as a means to try it out! My partner introduced me to this sort of community and style of displaying our characters.
As a reminder, anything my characters do or say is not OOC. My characters can be abrasive and sometimes just mean. Particularly Aoki...I'm also an artist! So my links have all my socials where I post art and more on that front.
Rules for RP
No ERP or extreme gore. I'm fine with violence and suggestive themes though!
No minors. I'm 20+ and would honestly feel uncomfortable RPing with minors.
